Education and Licensure

In order to be qualified as a dermatologist, Harold Farber had to graduate from an accredited medical school, complete a first-year internship residency in a general medicine clinical program, and attend at least three years of a dermatology-specific residency program. Education

Dr. Harold Farber received his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He completed his internship at Albany Medical Center and his residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Before attending medical school, Harold Farber received his Bachelor of Arts and Science from Pennsylvania State University.

Licensure

Harold Farber is licensed as a Medical Physician and Surgeon. Harold Farber is also a fellow the American Board of Dermatology and a Diplomat for the National Board of Medical Examiners. In addition, Harold Farber has an Unrestricted License from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Farber has a CLIA Laboratory Certificate of Compliance, authorizing him to perform laboratory evaluation in Tissue Pathology, Mycology, Dermatophyte Screening, Virology, and Tzanck Smear. Dr. Harold F. Farber, MD also has a Clinical Lab Permit from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in Tissue Pathology, Mycology, Dermatophyte Screening, Virology, and Tzanck Smear.
